Recently reprised Mr. Knightley in Kate Hamill's Emma at The Denver Center. Also, recently, Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice at Hartford Stage, Victor in Private Lives at The Rep St. Louis and originated the role of Mr. Knightly in the World Premiere of Kate Hamill's Emma at The Guthrie directed by Meredith McDonough. He originated the role of Jeff in JC Lee's World premiere of To My Girls at Second Stage directed by Stephen Brackett. He received Broadway World's Best Actor in Minneapolis and in Central New York for his performance as Mr Knightly in Kate Hamill's Emma and as Mr. Darcy in Kate Hamill's Pride and Prejudice.

In addition to performing Carman is a Monologue Coach for Musical Theater College Auditions (MTCA), an Acting Coach, Fight Choreographer, and Tennis Pro.
