Carman is  set to originate the role of  Jeff in JC Lee's World premiere of To My Girls at Second Stage. Following this he will originate Mr. Knightly in the World Premier of Kate Hamill's Emma at The Guthrie Theater, Spring 2022.  He was last seen as Antonio in Twelfth Night directed by Sara Holdren at The Two River Theater Company.  He received Broadway World's Best Actor in Central New York for his performance as Mr. Darcy in Kate Hamill's Pride and Prejudice at Syracuse Stage.  Prior to this Carman played Bingley and Mary in Kate Hamill's Pride and Prejudice at The Dorset Theatre Festival where he was nominated for Best Actor by the Broadway World Awards Vermont.  Carman can be seen on CBS' hit Drama "Blue Bloods" and can also be seen as Malcolm in Macbeth, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and as Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet in The New Book Press Inc.’s digital movie book series available in iTunes.

TRAINING: Carman has an MFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and a BFA from Texas Christian University.
He is a founding member and Artistic Associate of Amphibian Stage Productions, where he has performed in productions including The Understudy, Burn This, Three Days of Rain, Leonce and Lena, Icarus, Fully Committed, & Lonely Planet.  Carman is also a founding member of The Coop in NYC.
In addition to performing Carman is a Monologue Coach for Musical Theater College Auditions (MTCA), an Acting Coach, Fight Choreographer, and Tennis Pro.
