Carman recently played Victor in Private Lives at The Rep St. Louis and originated the role of Mr. Knightly in the World Premiere of Kate Hamill's Emma at The Guthrie both directed by Meredith Mcdonough. Last spring he recently starred and originated the role of Jeff in JC Lee's World premiere of To My Girls at Second Stage directed by Stephen Brackett. Prior to this he received Broadway World's Best Actor in Central New York for his performance as Mr. Darcy in Kate Hamill's Pride and Prejudice at Syracuse Stage.

He is a founding member and Artistic Associate of Amphibian Stage Productions, where he has performed in productions including The Understudy, Burn This, Three Days of Rain, Leonce and Lena, Icarus, Fully Committed, & Lonely Planet. Carman is also a founding member of The Coop in NYC.
In addition to performing Carman is a Monologue Coach for Musical Theater College Auditions (MTCA), an Acting Coach, Fight Choreographer, and Tennis Pro.
